Step 1: Warming up and revision 1.Let’s sing : My small cat T:Let’s enjoy a song together: “My small cat ” It’s a nice song. Are you happy ? 2.Brain storming Now let’s have our brainstorming. (课件出示) (一) tall--taller long--longer strong--stronger (一般情况下，形容词变比较级直接加er。) (二) big--bigger thin--thinner sad--sadder （重读闭音节，双写末尾字母再加er。）

(三)heavy--heavier sunny --sunnier funny--funnier （以辅音字母加y结尾的形容词把y变i,再加er。）
