Ⅱ. Presentation and practice 1.
Free talk with one student. T: What do you usually do in the morning? S: Read a book. (just for an example) T: Oh! You usually read a book in the morning. So what are you going to do this morning? S: Read a book. T: Good! Then you should answer: ‘I’m going to read a book.’

Practice the sentence “I’m going to … .”
with the eight phrases which have mentioned in warm-up. 3.
Ask students to ask the teacher the question —
What are you going to do this morning? Then elicit the phrase “take a trip”
S: What are you going to do this morning? T: I’m going to take a trip. 4.
What are you going to do this afternoon? I’m going to read a magazine. 5.
What are you going to do this evening? I’m going to the cinema. 6.
Use the sentences—“What
are you going to do this morning/this afternoon/this evening/tonight/tomorrow/next week?”
to practice the three new phrases: take a trip, read a magazine and go to the cinema. 7.
Make another chant A: This morning, this morning. What are you going to do this morning? B: Read a book, read a book. I’m going to read a book.
A: This afternoon, this afternoon. What are you going to do this afternoon? B: Read a magazine, read a magazine. I’m going to read a magazine.
A: This evening, this evening. What are you going to do this evening? B: Go to the cinema, go to the cinema. I’m going to the cinema.
A: Next week, next week. What are you going to do next week? B: Take a trip, take a trip. I’m going to take a trip.

教学反思:
本节课的内容是人教版小学英语六年级上册Unit 3的第一个课时Let’s learn。本课时的重点内容很多,包括一个重点句型是“What are you going to do … ? I’m going to … .”,三个新授动词短语“take a trip, read a magazine, go to the cinema”,以及四个四会短语“this moring, this afternoon, this evening, next week”。在备课时我第一个感觉是内容好多,不知道如何在这四十分钟合理安排这么多的授课内容,总是有一种手忙脚乱之感。后来反复琢磨后,我觉得一点点慢慢来,先教授句型“What are you going to do this morning? I’m going to … .”,然后再落实三个新授动词短语“take a trip, read a magazine, go to the cinema”,最后通过chant的形式巩固所有内容。
由于不是在自己的班级上课,所有在课堂的导入部分,我做完自我介绍后选择用聊天的形式问出“What do you do in the morning?”来引出复习已经学过的动词短语,并通过chant的形式来巩固这些动词短语。确认学生已经巩固这些动词短语后,以和一位学生谈话来引出“What are you going to do this morning? I’m going to … .”。
之后让学生用刚复习完的八个动词短语来练习这个句型,再逐步引入剩下的几个重点内容。新授完本课时的所有内容后,仍然以chant方式来巩固,让学生在朗朗上口的节奏中掌握要点。拓展环节部分,我先出示自己今天的计划,让学生用“What are you going to do?”来问我。接着让学生填写自己的计划,完成后让一位学生到讲台上,大家一起提问。最后小组合作相互提问今天的计划。课后作业是抄写以下四个短语:
this morning, this afternoon, this evening, next week和调查一位家庭成员一天的计划。
在中银小学上课时,学生多八个动词短语的落实比较扎实,所有在课堂上比较顺利完成了所有教学任务。但是在教授新句型时,起先我没有注意到学生在“I’m going to … .”上的错误发音,导致在之后的课堂教学中需要反复强调纠正这一发音,多少有些影响了之后的重点教授。
在张村小学上课,则遇到一个问题,既学生在之前阶段的英语学习中未能很好巩固八个动词短语,导致这节课的导入占用时间有些长。并且全英文授课也造成学生一定程度上的理解困难,上课进度比较缓慢。鉴于学生的基础,我把重点放在了新授内容的操练,省略了拓展的环节。
