Focal point: the words in Unit1 Difficult point: A Chinese book, an English book, fun story Teaching method: Communicative Approach, the Situational Teaching Method, The Cooperative Learning Method Teaching tools: PPT，objects Process of teaching: 1.Warm-up Sing an English song: Let’s go to school. 2.Presentation The teacher takes a schoolbag first, then says: I have a big schoolbag. Guess what is in it? In this way to review the words in Unit 1: textbook, storybook, Chinese book, English book, exercise book, notebook, Pay attention to “a Chinese book, an English book”.

Play a word game. Divide students into 4 groups, teacher shows a word to the students in the first row, student says the word and touches the desk, then the one behind he or she repeats, check which group is the fastest. Then play the PPT to check the words they learnt. Let the students look at the pictures and guess the meaning of the story. Introduce the characters of the story. Let students understand the conversations in each picture. Ask students to translate. 3.Practice Work in pairs to act out the dialogue in Part1. Tell students that we should not play tricks to others and be friendly, word hard! Play the tape and do the listening practice.
