Teaching aims and learning objectives:

1.To understand these words and phrases : goalkeeper, Mr Deer, catch the ball, reach ,teemwork, big guy, excellent. 2. To understand and say these sentences: I'd like to have a try. I can't wait. Mr Zebra is 10 centimeters taller than Mr Deer. Football needs teamwork. What's happening here? We need a big guy. He's an excellent goalkeeper. 3. Enable them to read the story full of emotions. 4. Encourage them to act out the story. 5. To understand the meaning of teemwork, learn to cooperate with others. Teaching important and difficult points:

Step1 Greetings and Warm up

1. Greetings, free talk : How old are you? How tall are you? Etc. 2. Review the comparative dgree of adjectives: tall-taller short-shorter old-older young-younger heavy-heavier thin-thinner big-bigger fat-fatter …

3.To make sentences with any comparative adjectives you like. Such as:I'm 155 centimeter. Mike is 160 centimeter. Mike is taller than me. He's 5 centimeters taller than me. 4. Sing a song My cat Step 2 Presentation

1. Listening to the story , Think about the questions: Who's taller? Mr Zebra or Mr Deer?

Who's the goalkeeper at last? 2. Listening to the story again, underline the words or phrases you are not comprehend surely. Think about the questions:
