本课是针对四年级的学生课程。四年级的学生在通过一年多的英语学习，已经初步建立了良好的英语学习习惯，能够准确的理解教师课堂指令并能做出相应的反应。四年级的学生，已经储备了一定的词汇量和日常用语，能够进行简单的口语交际。四年级的孩子年龄比较小，对英语充满了学习欲和表现欲，他们具有超强的模仿力和记忆力。因此，在本课的学习中教师只需要抛砖引玉，通过照片引出there be句型，学生通过看、听、练就能很快的过渡到说。
