life. [Teaching process] Warming up 1. Today, we will review unit2 Good Health to You! Before our class, let’s relax ourselves first. Do you remember this chant in lesson11? Now, everyone should read this chant following the tape and act according to the chant. (Play the chant) 2. I want some volunteers to tell me which one is healthy. (Put up some pictures on the blackboard) Activity one: What is exercise? Show the question of What is exercise. I’ll find some students answer this question. Activity two: How often do you…?

Draw a form about times and frequency on the blackboard, which is related to some activities like having breakfast, playing sports, having English class, etc. Then let

students tick by their situation and make conversations according to this form. For example: How often do you exercise? I exercise five times a week.

How many minutes do you exercise? I exercise for an hour. Activity three: Game Before & After I will use a clock which has some activities. Every number on the clock represents an activity. Then, I will use a ball to choose students to speak out ‘Before…, I …/After…, I…’

according to the clock. Listening practice Open the books and turn to page32. Students now listen to the tape and finish part 1-3 Reading comprehension Students finish this part in 7 minutes. Then they check their answers in their groups. Writing practice Before writing this composition, students should finish the form on page34, and then write a composition named ‘How can we be strong and healthy?’

Summary:

Boys and girls, in this unit we know that what exercise is and how we can be healthy and strong. We should do more exercise and eat more fruit and vegetables. Good health to everyone! [Homework] 1.
