Analysis of the teaching material（教材分析）:

The teaching material is the grammar part of module2, unit3. The grammar is about the usage of “the Present Perfect Passive Voice”. It’s the first time for the students to learn this grammar in high school period. Analysis of the learning condition（学情分析）: The students have studied in high school for more than 3 months. After the Arts and Science division two weeks ago, they are still in the phase of adjustment, which means there

still exist unfamiliarity as well as uneasiness in their study. In view of students’ poor foundation in English, they can have the ability to analyze some language structures but they may lack the language competence to express themselves properly in English.

Teaching objectives（教学目标）: 1. Language and skills（知识技能）

The students will be able to understand the structure of “the Present Perfect Passive Voice”.

The students will be able to master the meaning of “the Present Perfect Passive Voice”.

The students will be able to use “the

Present Perfect Passive Voice” in spoken and written language fluently.

1. The students should analyze the usages of “the Present Perfect Passive Voice”.

2. The students should try to use this structure properly and correctly.

Teaching Procedures（教学步骤）

Step1: Review and Clarify---以旧带新，搭桥铺路

Students are asked to review some important sentences in their previous textbook study to clarify the differences of the usage between the simple past tense and simple present perfect tense. 1) Complete the sentences with correct tense 









With the help of pictures and a real situation, students are asked to observe, analyze and summarize the structure of the grammatical point on their own in an inductive way instead of the traditional spoon-feeding way.

In this part, the exercises will be a little more difficult than the previous one. Students are asked to finish a speech about experience of using electronic schoolbags（电子书包）in No.4GuangGu Primary School Good morning, ladies and gentlemen! It is my great honor on behalf of our school to share with you the experience of using electronic school bags in our school. Almost 600 computers

(give) to us by a local computer company since the end of 2012. It

(decide) that we shall begin a computer teaching experiment in our school. So each teacher and each student

(provide) with a laptop since the beginning of 2013. Student

(promise) to be able to use a laptop every day many times.

Since then, most of our courses

In this part, the students are required to write their own sentences with present perfect passive voice in real situations. They will complete a short speech to introduce great changes in Wuhan these years.

1) Identify great changes in Wuhan these years by describing pictures with some key words. And the changes are divided into four aspects: the environment, the transportation, the economy, the spirit and action. 2) Finish a speech by using as many sentences with present perfect passive voice as possible.
