A healthy life 教学设计

1 教学目标

Teaching Goals：

1．To know what a truly healthy life is．

2．To pay more attention to the healthy issues and realize the danger of smoking and drugs．

3．To learn some new words and expressions．

4.

To train students’ ability of reading comprehension. Emotional Goals: To have students form good habits and healthy life style.

2 学情分析

学生缺乏阅读兴趣，阅读能力较差，普遍存在阅读习惯差、阅读速度慢、理解能力弱的现象。大部分学生不能从文章中获取主要信息并摘录要点，不能提取、筛选和重新组织文章中的信息，用英语获取信息、处理信息、分析问题和解决问题的能力较差。因此，阅读能力依然是学生的薄弱环节。

3 重点难点

Teaching important points: Learn the bad effects of smoking and how to give advice on stopping smoking.

Teaching difficult points：

Learn in what ways people get addicted to cigarettes.

Teaching methods: Discussion,cooperative learning and oral practice.

5.1 第一学时

活动1 导入

Leading in

1). Presentation of Group 1 titled A Healthy Life

2). Brainstorming: What kind of life can be regarded as a healthy life?

【设计意图】

给学生练习口语，展示自己的机会。利用头脑风暴这种形式，激活学生的背景知识。同时对有关健康生活的单词进行重现和巩固以扩大词汇量。

活动2 讨论

Discussion

1). List some healthy activities or unhealthy activities.

2).What are the harmful effects of smoking?

3).Why do you think some adolescents start smoking?

4) Make up sentences by using disappointed, ashamed, quit, be addicted to, be accustomed to, due to: 正如你知道的，Frank因为在考试中粗心被家长惩罚了。Frank感到很惭愧。让他父母失望的是，Frank对玩网上QQ农场游戏上瘾了。

Frank又一次考试不及格，自己也很失望，所以他决定戒掉玩网上游戏。顺便说一下，现在Frank习惯努力学习了。

【设计意图】这部分问题比较开放，目的是让学生通过小组合作学习，增强学生的生活常识，提高他们的观察能力，想象力和英语口头表达能力，同时为reading部分作铺垫，只要是言之有理的答案，教师都要给与肯定和表扬。

活动3 展示

Presentation

【设计意图】每两个小组展示同一个问题的答案，小组代表激情展示，展示句子同学要书写规范，其他同学关注展示内容，并及时纠错。在学生讨论之后，教师给出参考答案。

通过教师评价，学生可以有机会了解自己学会了什么，学习的程度如何，是进步了还是退步了，是比其他同学学得好，还是比其他同学学得差。教学评价作为对学生学习结果的反馈，可以进一步增强学生的学习动力。
