教材分析：

本课通过Andy介绍自己家人的职业，学生学习有关职业的词汇，并能在相应的功能句型中熟练运用；然后学会熟练运用在恰当的情景下询问他人的职业及回答的交际用语。学习并掌握在相应的情景下询问对方将来想要从事的工作及回答的交际用语。

学情分析：

学生在以前已经学习了一些表示职业的词汇，并在日常学习生活中接触了一些表示职业的词汇，学困生对于多音节的词汇学习起来有一定的难度。

设计思路：

教学目标：

1. 能够听懂、会说nurse, cook, doctor,

bus driver, police officer, taxi driver, farmer和

worker等表示职业的词汇；能够根据语境恰当使用它们，并能借助拼读规律认读和识记单词。

2. 能用Is she/he a/an…?

Yes, she/he is. No, she/he isn’t.询问交流他人的职业。

3. 能够根据语境，选择本课所学词汇完成句子填空，同时强化良好的英文书写习惯。

教学重点，难点：

Leading in:

Say the chant. (1) Let’s sing a song. (2)From the song, what jobs do you know?

People do different jobs. Today, let’s talk about jobs. (出示课题)

Our friend, Andy, wants to introduce his family member’s jobs.

This is Andy’s family tree. Who are they? b. Listen to the tape. (整体呈现)

3. Learn new words. There are some new words of jobs in the material. Let’s guess these words. When we want to know someone’s job, we can ask: what does he/ she/ sb do?

4. Let’s guess “what does he/she do?”

(1)（ppt）cook. What does he do? He is a cook. (oo: / u / read them: look, book, good, cook A cook can make a lot of delicious food. Pay attention to “cooker is not a person’s job.”

Mail: we put the letter into a mailbox, then the mailman can help us to send the letter to the person who receives the letter.
