设计理念： 我在本课教学设计中坚持以主题拓展阅读为中心、以学生为主体、以兴趣为支点、以交流为目的、以活动任务为途径的教学原则。通过最新的计算机多媒体等教学手段创造贴近生活的教学情境并在课堂上大量地采用互动式教学模式，使学生自然进入英语世界在教学过程中综合运用情景教学、任务型教学、交际教学、整体语言教学等手段全面培养学生的听、说、读、写等语言综合运用能力。

教材分析：本课采用的教材是上海教育出版社牛津英语五年级上册第三模块第九单元

“Around the city”

第一课时，内容是运用简单的短语和句子为对方指明方向。

通过本课的学习，学生能熟练运用相关的短语和句子表达如何到达某处，并能在实际生活中进行运用。



学情分析：

本班学生基础一般，属于中等水平，但学习英语的热情较高，态度积极。就学生的英语知识体系结构而言，五年级学生已具备了一定的英语基础，并接触、掌握了一定的句型和表达方向、地点的词汇，了解了一般的英语日常用语。在教师的指导下应该能够用英语表达相关内容。



教学目标：

知识目标：

听懂、会读、会说单词和短语：quite、post office、walk along、walk straight、turn left、turn right、between…

and…、flower shop、toy shop。

2）能正确地有感情地朗读课文。

2．能力目标：

1）通过课堂学习操练，使学生能够用英语进行简单的指路。

、walk straight、turn left、turn right…

2）能够根据课文内容回答问题。

3）能够在实际生活中运用本课学到的知识。

3．情感目标：

在课堂活动中，调动学生的学习热情，激发学生英语学习的兴趣。

在小组活动体验中，培养学生互助、合作学习的意识，提高学生运用语言的能力。

教学过程：

（一）热身复习

文化感知

课件展示配乐图片。Let’s enjoy the pictures. Pay attention to the signs. Where can we see the signs? There are many places in our city. Today we’ll learn “Unit 9 Around the city”.

设计意图: 通过欣赏各国各地带有路标的图片，使学生初步感知本课将要学习的内容。

同时通过提问Where can we see the signs? 导出本课所要用到的street单词，为新课内容做好铺垫。同时，不同国家人文和风景的图片提升了学生的文化意识。由此导出本课课题。

（二）话题推进

学习新知

1.

Guessing game

Let’s guess the place! 课件展示4个谜语，学习hospital、toy shop、flower shop、post office。例如： It is a place. It is beautiful. We can buy some flowers there. It is a ___________.展示课件提出问题：“Is there a post office near your home/school? Is it near or far away?

Where is it?

How do you get there?”由此学习quite、between…and…。 2.

课文学习

Look, Kitty is going to the post office, but she doesn’t know the way. She is asking a man. Listen and find the sentences. How does Kitty get there? 播放课文视频。

学生边听边找。之后每人发给一张课堂练习，让学生把表达路线的句子连线。展示课件，边看图边讲解表达路线的句子。“Walk along Winter Street. Turn left at Spring Street. Walk straight and you can see the post office on your right. It’s between the cinema and the flower shop.”学生在发到课堂练习上选词填空，区分walk along和walk straight。

跟读课文。小组内分角色朗读课文。展示课件，根据不完整的课文提示朗读课文。回答P59的问题。

设计意图: 1.利用猜谜游戏学习本课四会单词hospital、toy shop、flower shop、post office。通过小短文，提高学生的阅读能力。

2.通过视频，使学生直观了解课文。随堂练习题纸让学生边学边练。通过选词填空让学生自己找出walk along和walk straight的区别，能够在日常生活中正确使用。通过不完整的课文提示进行朗读课文，加大了学生朗读的难度，练习了新知，同时给水平较高的同学一个展示的机会。

（三）语用实践

巩固新知

出示我校规划中的新楼平面图。Think and guess what’s near our now school. There are four new pupils in our school. They will go to some places. Can you help them? 在小组中讨论，选一名代表说一说。

设计意图: 通过我校规划中的新楼来激发学生的想象力，并通过小组讨论生帮

生的方法练习本课新知。

（四）综合拓展

激活语言

出示课件，阅读理解。

Mr Li goes to the restaurant on foot. He walks along Apple Street. Then he turns left at Banana Road. He walks straight and sees the hospital on his right. It’s near a supermarket.

Miss Zhang wants to get to Happy Family. It’s not far from her home. She walks along Zheng Yang Street and turns right at the second crossing(十字路口). It’s next to the Imperial Palace(故宫).

It’s Sunday. Mrs. Li will go to the hospital. She is on Autumn Street. She walks straight and turns right at Summer Road. The hospital is between the post office and the bank.

It’s sunny today. Mrs Liu goes to the flower shop near her home. She walks along Grape Street and turns right at Orange Road. The flower shop is on her right.

设计意图: 通过阅读相关文章，提高学生整体认知水平。与以往的阅读理解不同，本次共四段，每段介绍一个人行走的路线。在判断的时候打乱了顺序，不是按照以往由上到下的正常顺序出题。题中出现了沈阳本地的场景，更突出了实用性，也体现出了人文教育。

（五）总结评价

作业夯实
