Teaching contents(教学内容): PEP Book8 .Unit3 Where did you go? Words in each unit. Period2 Learning analysis(学情分析): 通过上个单元的学习,学生已经接触过动词的一般过去时的规则变化,学生对一般过去时有一个初步的感知,但具体的语境中还不能熟练地掌握与运用一般过去时,特别是不规则动词的过去式,学生用英语思维及表达的习惯还有待进一步强化和训练。所以在教学中应引导学生对动词的原形与过去式对比,使他们熟练掌握。加强词汇,句型,对话等基础知识的训练,同时采取多种方法,激发学生的兴趣,让学生在情景交际中掌握和运用语言。

Teaching aims(教学目标): 1.Knowledge and ability(知识和能力): ⑴

听说读写单词和词组:

ate, took, bought,went, gift, took pictures,ate fresh food, bought gifts,went swimming. ⑵

能够正确使用上述单词和词组描述自己的假期生活或周末生活。

能够运用句型How was your summer holiday? Where did you go? What did you do?去询问别人的假期情况。

2.Emotional attitude and values(情感态度价值观): 了解不同地方的名胜古迹和风土人情,养成合理安排学习和生活的能力,激发热爱大自然的美好情感。

Important &difficult points(重难点): 1.听说读写单词和词组:

ate, took, bought,went, gift, took pictures,ate fresh food, bought gifts,went swimming. 2.掌握不规则动词的过去式。

3.灵活运用所学的单词、词组和句型谈论假日生活。

Teaching methods(教学方法): 情境教学法,合作学习法,游戏法,全身反应法。

Explain holiday using calender. Lead to Labour day holiday ,summer holiday, winter holiday …

Step 2. Presentation 1.

Guess: PPT shows some pictures of mine. Ask Ss : Where did I go last summer holiday? Show three sentence patterns to Ss: How was your summer holiday? Where did you go? What did you do?

Have them ask me about my summer holiday. 2.

PPT shows the picture of

Wu Yifan’s summer holiday (ate fresh food). Ask What did he do? Show the words: cake, name. Have Ss read the word: ate. Teaching eat--ate,, ate fresh food, I ate fresh food last summer holiday.(delicious, hot, sweet)

What did you do? Ask and answer. 3.

Chant: Yifan ,Yifan, What did you do?

Teach: took, bought,went, gift, took pictures, bought gifts,went swimming in the same way. 5.

Listen to the tape and repeat. Step 3. Practice 1.

4.Tell Ss: Read ten thousand books and travel ten thousand miles. Step5. Homework 1.Read and copy the words and phrases four times. 2.Talk about your holiday using these words and phrases. 3.Write a short composition about your holiday in English.
