教学目标：

知识与技能目标：

1、能够利用上下文、插图以及已有的知识和经验理解故事内容和细节信息。

2、教师激发学生使用阅读策略和阅读方法的知识，例如：根据图片信息，上、下文推测coach 、dig 、around等词的含义。

3、促进学生思维能力的发展。例：推测故事情节的能力，对故事发展过程的理解归纳能力，小组合作能力等。

过程与方法：

1、通过老师介绍自己的运动情况及图片来激发学生的学习兴趣。

2、采用Free-Talk来激活学生，提取与运动有关的知识，导入本课话题。

3、学生在老师的带领下，通过Picture reading的活动形式，理解故事内容，抓住关键信息。

4、通过小组讨论、朗读比赛、排序等形式进一步巩固所学知识（培养学生多方面技能）。

情感、态度与价值观：

帮助学生体会到只有努力，才能有所成就的道理，以及做人要懂得感恩的道理。

教学重点：

1、通过图片和教师讲解，促使学生理解故事大意。

2、在没有媒体手段的情况下，利用张贴等方式构建故事内容结构。

教学难点：

1、学生自身的阅读策略不足，所以在教学活动中，通过渗透策略的使用来帮助学生理解故事中的生词含义，是本课的难点之一。

2. 在没有多媒体辅助下，帮助学生理解故事内容和对主要信息进行提炼。

教具：录音机一台、自绘图片、卡片

教学过程：

Part One: Pre-Reading 1、Warming-up T: Boys and girls, please look at my hand .Can you tell me what it is ? Ss: It’s a badminton.

T: Good. Of all the sports ,I like badminton best. I often play badminton with my son .I think It’s very funny .And I like Lin Dan very much. I think he is a great badminton player .Do you like sports ? What’s your favorite sport ? Please discuss in groups .

Open your books , please read the text quickly by yourselves . (设计意图：通过快速默读的方法让学生进一步感知故事情境，激发学生的学习兴趣。) 3. Now let’s read the text together .This time we are going to listen to the recording of one paragraph by paragraph, Then if you have any question, I can help you . (设计意图: 教师通过师生共读的方式带领学生深入故事，同时也是培养学生运用图片线索提示猜测或理解信息的能力，进行阅读策略的渗透，有效地处理教学重、难点，使学生理解故事的主要内容及故事中主要词汇的意义，培养学生的观察力、想象力和语言表达能力。) Part Three : Past-Reading 1.
