Curriculum analysis Learning analysis: In the second semester of the third grade,students have already accumulated certain knowledge of English and can understand the simple instructions of teachers.Students are willing to learn and learn easily.Therefore,in teaching ,we should make every student take the initiative to particpipate in classroom teaching and swim in the ocean of English. Teaching analysis: The students have learned some new words about animals;can use the words to make new dialogues.In this lesson,I will further to teaching some new words of animals to improve the ability to expression. Teaching goals 1.

Knowledge goal Students will be able to aurally understand,orally use,recognize and spell the following vocabulary:fish,bird.

Students will be able to recognize,understand and use the construction:Fish can swim.Birds can fly.I can….Can you…? Yes,I can. No,I can’t.

Students will learn and be able to chant. 2.

Ability goal: Further practice the students’ abilities of listening and speaking.Also they can use the important sentences to express their ideas. 3.

Moral value Make the students can use the common words to express their ideas. Important and difficult points: 1.

Learn the new words. 2.

Can use the new sentences to make new dialogues. Step 1.Greeting T:Good morning,boys and girls. Ss:Good morning,Mrs. Li. T:Are you ready to begin our class? Ss:Yes. (设计意图：师生打招呼问候既能增进师生间感情，

又使学生轻松进入英语学习，活跃课堂气氛。) Step 2:Review Listen and sing a song together“Old Macdonald Had a Farm”and the teacher ask: Old Macdonald had a farm,what animals have you listened on the farm?Students answer. T:Do you want to know what else animals are on the farm?Today let’s continue learn Lesson 3 Fish and Birds.
