Greeting and Lead-in. T: Good morning，everyone! Nice to meet you all. My name’s Li Yan. You can call me Ms. Li. Today is your show time! Before I get started, let’s do something to relax our body. Everybody stand up, listen to the music and do morning exercise together. （设计意图：自我介绍并引导学生进行日常口语交际，通过热身活动使学生放松紧张状态，为主题学习做铺垫准备。）

T: What ball is it? Ss: It’s football. /It’s basketball. T: What are we going to talk about? Ss: We are going to talk about sports. Do you know more sports? You can do actions and we can guess what sport it is. (设计意图：通过视频导入主题运动，选若干学生做动作，其他学生通过视觉表示理解的运动词汇，使课堂氛围快速活跃起来。) II.

Presentation and practice Step 1 Prediction Show textbook pictures, let students guess what sports they 5

are. Predict and get general information from the pictures. T: Now look at the picture, what sports are we going to talk about? Step 2 Introduce three sports:

football, cricket and baseball, volleyball, tennis, swimming. Step 3 What we want to know T: What do you want to know about football and cricket? Now, share with your friends first with “where, what or how”questions word. Eg I want to know: Which country is the football popular? (设计意图：学生将学到的抓关键信息的阅读策略，运用到实际阅读过程中，通过小组合作方式，进行信息分享，加深对文本的理解，进一步巩固了抓关键信息的阅读策略。通过填写表格、活动抢答等形式，检测学生对知识的掌握程度，教师贴关键词条帮助学生复述文本，进行信息匹配。) V.
