Ss talk about their changes. Step 2. Learn new words 出示单词卡片和图画教学单词：race,

nothing ,thought, felt, cheetah, trip, woke, dream并板书,教读,学生跟读。

Step 3.Reading 1. Ask Ss questions: What was Wu Yifan’s dream? Who had a race with Wu Yifan? Did Wu Yifan win? .S: 学生独立快速阅读课文，提取主要信息，读后回答以上问题。

2.学生细读课文，边读边理解，找出难点。

3.学生合作交流理解课文。

4.老师解释学生的难点。

1）There are many animals in the race. 2 But suddenly he tripped and fell. Step 4.Listen to the passage. Ss listen and read the passage. Step 5. Number the pictures.
