When all the Ss say the last phrase, Ask the Ss to look at the screen, I’ll show the picture of a boy who is reading a book. then ask “What’s he doing? Let the Ss answer “He’s reading a book.” Then, I will use more pictures to help the Ss to practice the sentences“What’s she doing? She’s listening to music. She’s talking to her friend.”

Through leading in, revise the sentence pattern of last period，and arouse Ss interest in learning. Now, I will talk about new lesson. Boys and girls, look at the screen, It’s a park. In the park, We can see lots of interesting things. Look at the old man, What’s he doing? He’s doing taijiquan. Boys and girls, Can you do taijiquan ？OK, follow me, do taijiquan.(do the action).Now, Look at the people, What are they doing? They’re doing taijiquan. Now，Look at the little boy on the boat. What’s he doing? He’s rowing a boat .Follow me, (row, row, row a boat) say and do the action. Then, look at the men, what are they doing? They are rowing a dragon boat. I will use the same way to help the Ss to learn.（play chess、drink soya milk）

looking, speaking and doing actions. Step 4 Consolidation Now, I’ll talk about the activities in this class. First, I will divide the class into 4 groups to have a competition. Let’s play a guessing game. I’ll show a part of one picture on the screen and let the Ss guess. I will tell the Ss, if you can guess right, I will give your group a star. For example, “boys and girls, look at the picture. There are some people. “What are they doing?” Until the Ss guess right. At last, let the Ss look at the screen, check the answer “They are doing taijiquan.”Next, I will choose one student come to the front, do this for me. Through practicing, the Ss can master the important points of this unit easily. Then, Look, Spring is coming . Some people are in the park. They’re doing some interesting activities. Look at Amy, she’s riding a bike. They are rowing a boat. Here, some animals are coming too. The birds are singing. Look at the pandas, they are doing taijiquan. Now, I will show more verb phrases on the screen. Let the Ss look at the flash, and use the sentence patterns to talk about in their group. The last, I will invite each group to report.

You can say as many sentences as possible. The group which can say the most sentences first will be the winner. I will give them four stars. Through these activities, to review the words and key points of this unit easily. Step5.Homework Let the Ss prepare some action pictures and describe what they are doing to their partner.
