教材分析 New senior English for China student’s Book 9 unit 3 . Mainly review important words , expressions and grammar , enlarge knowledge, improve reading and writing level. 学情分析Target readers: students in Grade 2 in senior high school;they are studying drawing music and so on.They have spent less time in studying English.so they are weak in it.. Listening ability: weak Speaking ability: weak Reading ability: may read only for information, not for connotation Writing ability: weak Knowledge aims:By the end of the lesson, the students are able to: Level 1: read and understand the new English words and expressions in the text; Level 2: Get the students to learn and grasp the usages of the important new words and expressions.

Level 3: reorganize and act out the context in a new situation. Ability aims:

1. Enable the students to use some useful new words and expressions correctly. 2. Get the students to make sentences after the useful sentence patterns. Emotional aims: 1. Stimulate students’ interest in learning English. 2. Develop the students’ spirit of group cooperation and teamwork. Teaching emphasis: 1. the writing structure and the logic of the text; 2. the hidden information behind the context. Teaching difficulties: 1. how to make a natural transition between the different parts of the text; 2. how to guide the students to dig out the cause of the cultural misunderstandings or mistakes in the text; 3. how to lead the students to put what they have learned into practice.
