Analysis of the text 教材分析：本篇课文主要用了百科全书，新闻报道，广告，旅游宣传手册，和个人旅游帖子五种不同描写方式介绍了澳大利亚的地理位置，人口，首都，澳大利亚市民节，世界遗产乌卢鲁和高山国家公园等旅游资源,让学生全方位了解澳大利亚的信息，激发学生开眼看世界，扩大学生的知识面。

Analysis of students 学情分析：学生已经学完了高中八册书的内容，已经有足够的词汇量，能迅速看懂文章大意，也具备了泛读，略读，跳读，查读等各种阅读技巧，但学生对澳大利亚的情况了解甚少,所以课前要做好充分的铺垫和有关澳大利亚的图片展示让学生对澳大利亚有一个感性认识。

Australia. 3.Show some basic information about Australia and let the students compare Australia with China to make the students get more familiar with Australia.

本节课的优点，先用一些图片让学生对澳大利亚有一个感性认识，激发了学生的学习兴趣，然后通过中国和澳大利亚的对比更进一步了解澳大利亚，通过对比让学生对澳大利亚留下深刻印象，然后再提出问题让学生浏览全文查找重要信息，进一步加深对澳大利亚的认识，最后通过小组讨论和分享让学生明白旅游的意义，整个教学环节环环相扣，紧密相连。需要改进的地方，课前可以让学查找和澳大利亚相关的信息，在上课时相互分享，这样让学生对澳大利亚有更丰富分认识，也可以促进学生的相互学习。
