Teaching Plan

一、教学目标

(1) 语言知识目标：掌握听力材料中的语言表达。 (2) 能力目标：巩固提取和记录关键信息的听力技能，并在多样化的活动中培养学生预测和听说读写的能力。

(3) 德育目标：引导学生讨论如何保护动物并学会反思。

二、教学方法

以任务型教学

(Task-based Language Teaching)作为课堂教学设计之理念，具体采用情景教学法（Situational Approach），整体语言教学法（Whole Language Teaching）等教学方法。学生可以通过表达、沟通、交流、解释、询问等各种语言形式来学习和掌握语言，实现目标，感受成功，侧重学生听说能力的培养，选择使用启发式教学法，在具体教学中以任务型为主，充分利用直观教具和多媒体手段给学生以直观生动的体会，培养学生直接用英语理解、表达和思维的能力。让学生积极参与，充分调动他们的学习积极性，以有限的课堂为载体，带学生进入广泛的知识天地。

Step1：Lead in (3 mins) Enjoy a song and fill in the blanks.

(设计意图：以英文歌曲作为导入，激活学生英语思维，使学生的学习和感受融为一体，快速融入英语课堂学习。) Step2：Pre-listening (2 mins) Prediction: Ask the students to predict what they will hear. Tips: While listening to the story, pay attention to the following points. (设计意图：以图片作为导入，引起学生对于主题的思考和关注，并注重锻炼学生的预测能力，引导学生积极思考学习的主题，激发学生联想与主题相关的信息，开拓学生的思路, 同时进行听力技巧指导。) Step3：Listening (25 mins) Activity1: Listen to the story and choose the picture which best describes what happened. Check whether your prediction was correct or not. Activity2: Listen to the story and choose the best answer to each question. 1.Why did the children decide to give the dog to the teacher? A.Because none of them wanted to keep the dog.

B.Because they never told a lie.

C.Because they thought the teacher had told the biggest lie. 2.What do you know about the children? A.They all like dogs. C.They are honest. 3.What do you know about the teacher?

B.They all work hard at their lessons.

A.He does not like the dog.

B.He does not like these boys.

C.He does not like the way the children choose an owner for the dog.

Activity3:

Put the following sentences in right order. Activity4: While listening, fill in the blanks. Activity5: Use English to express the following sentences. Activity6: While listening, complete the passage. Activity7: Express the following sentences in English. (设计意图：本部分是听力训练的重点，以精听的方式为主，学生通过边听边提取有效信息完成相应的活动任务，让学生在有限的时间里尽快掌握听力内容，获取总体印象并兼顾细节信息，训练学生捕捉关键词并在最短时间内获取最重要信息的能力。) Step4：Post-listening

(20 mins) Activity1: Read the dialogue Activity2: Have a discussion and make preparations for the performance. Activity3: Act it out. Activity4: Watch a short video and have a discussion. Activity5: Think about how we should protect animals and share the ideas. Activity6: Write a short passage. Activity7: Show the composition. （设计意图：本环节是整节课的升华，形式多样的活动充分锻炼了学生的英语表达能力，打开了学生的思路，发挥了他们的创造力，

表达各自的思想情感，最终的落脚点是保护动物的情感教育主题上。）

Step5: Homework Polish the composition.

(设计意图：培养学生保护动物的意识，达到情感教育升华和德育目标，同时将所学知识用于实际运用当中，不仅有利于提高学生的英语表达能力，还有利于提高学生的综合素质，达到了输出和升华的目的。)
