Step 1 Warm up 1.

Greetings T: Good afternoon, Boys and girls. Ss: Good afternoon, Ms Huang. T: How are you?

Sing the song “We wish you a merry Christmas.”

Lead to the Christmas，learn the new words: Christmas, merry, Merry Christmas. (个人读、开火车读、小组读) Step 2 Presentation 1. Point to the title，并指出Christmas的起源。

2. Take out the toy Father Christmas, and say “Merry Christmas!”

Show the pictures of part1. Let the students look and guess:
