Unit9 第1课时教学设计

一、教学目标

1. 词汇：能听懂、会说、认读新单词than , bigger, biggest, smaller, smallest, taller, tallest, shorter, shortest, longer, longest. 2. 句型：能用“A is (比较级) than 和“… is the (最高级) ”比较事物。

3. 应用：能观察比较事物的大小、高矮、长短。

二、教学重、难点

1. 重点：能听懂、会说、认读新单词than, clay, biggest, smallest, tallest, shortest, longest,并能在学习新单词时掌握形容词构成比较级在末尾加-er，构成最高级在词尾加-est的基本规则；能听懂、会说句型“... is +比较级+than ...”和“… is the +最高级”。

2. 难点：重读闭音节形容词构成比较级和最高级要双写尾字母，如big—bigger—biggest。

Step 1 热身/复习(Warm-up/Revision) 1. Greetings 2. Good Memory (1)课件出现五只颜色不同的小鸟。

T: There are five little birds. Please remember the color of the birds. (2)学生快速记住每只鸟的颜色后竞猜。

T: Which bird is blue/red/black/yellow/white? S: The first\second\third… is blue\red\black……

(3)教师带读序数词。

Step 2 Presentation 1. 学习taller和tallest (1) 出示学生A的图片。

T: Who’s she? What does she look like? （引导学生说出She is tall.）

出示单词tall （2）出示学生B的图片。

T: How about B? （比较两人身高）

B is taller than A.（课件出示taller）

学习单词taller（注意拼读，学习er的发音）

（3）出示句型：B is taller than A. 比较班上同学的身高。

（4）出示学生C的图片。

T: B or C, who is taller? Ss: C is taller than B. T: C is the tallest of the three. 学习单词tallest（注意拼读，学习est的发音）

T: Who is the tallest in our class? （明确：“tallest”只能在三者或三者以上进行比较时使用。）

（5）跟录音朗读单词。

2.学习longer和longest (1) 出示学生D的图片。

T: Who’s she? What does she look like? （引导学生说出She has long hair.）

出示单词long （2）出示学生E的图片。

T: How about E? （比较两人头发）

E’hair is longer than D’hair.（课件出示longer）

学习单词longer（注意拼读，再次强调er的发音）

（3）比较班上同学的头发长短。

T: Who’s hair is longer than E’ hair? （比较2-3位同学的头发）

（4）出示学生F的图片。

T: E or F, who’s hair is longer?

Ss:

F’hair is longer than E’hair.

T: F’hair is the longest of the three.

学习单词longest（注意拼读，再次强调est的发音）

T: Who’ hair is the longest in our class?

（5）跟录音朗读单词。

3.小组合作，自主学习shorter和shortest （1）出示学生图片及单词short、shorter和shortest。

分配任务：小组第一个同学尝试读出三个单词并翻译，小组第二个同学比较前两张图片的头发长短，小组第三个同学比较后两张图片的头发长短，第四个同学总结谁的头发最短。

（2）小组讨论学习。

（3）学生汇报。

4.学习bigger和biggest （1）出示三只鸟的图片

T: There are three birds: the first, the second one, the third one. The first bird is big. How about the second one? 引导学生说出单词bigger，学习bigger。

（2）比较班上物品的大小：book、eraser、window…

T: The first book or the second book, which one is bigger? （3）比较三只鸟的大小，学习biggest T: The third bird is the biggest of the three bird. 5.小组合作，自主学习smaller和smallest （1）出示学生图片及单词small、smaller和smallest。

分配任务：小组第一个同学尝试读出三个单词并翻译，小组第二个同学比较前两张图片上物品的大小，小组第三个同学比较后两张图片上物品的大小，第四个同学总结哪张图片上的物品最小。

（2）小组讨论学习。

（3）学生汇报。

6. Grammer （1）出示所有形容词原级、比较级和最高级，师带读一遍。

Step 3 趣味操练(Practice) 1.Guessing game.

课件出示被遮挡部分的人或物品，学生进行比较猜测。

T: The first pencil or the second pencil, which one is shorter? 2.课件出示Lily和Lucy （1）学生小组内讨论比较两人的不同之处，每人至少说出一点。

T: They are Lily and Lucy. They are good friend. But they have some differences. Please talk about them in your group. Everyone makes a sentence. （2）学生汇报

Step 3 Writing 发放课堂练习纸，要求学生写写自己的好朋友，使用比较级句型描述相互之间的不同。

教学反思：

本堂课的教学目标是能听懂、会说、认读新单词than, bigger, biggest, smaller, smallest, taller, tallest, shorter, shortest, longer, longest。能用“A is (比较级) than B”比较事物。课堂效果较好，基本实现了教学目标。我以一个快速记忆的小游戏导入课堂，复习序数词，本活动在复习语言知识的同时，有意培养了学生的观察力和记忆力，有效激发学生自然表达的兴趣。在学习形容词的比较级与最高级时，大量运用了班上学生的照片进行身高外貌等比较，让学生能更具体实际地理解形容词的比较级和最高级，并学会将句型运用到生活中。在学习形容词的比较级与最高级时尝试进行了两次小组合作，自主学习shorter，shortest和smaller，smallest。学习过程中初步掌握形容词比较级和最高级的构成规则，学生参与度较高。在实际教学中也有一些做得不足之处，新授内容花费的时间过长，同一种句型每一个形容词的比较级和最高级都花费了较多的时间，到后面学生学得有些枯燥。时间原因，语法部分总结得比较粗略，操练也不够到位，部分基础较差的同学对新知识领会还比较模糊，还需多多学习改进。总的来说，本堂课尝试小组合作学习效果较好，基本实现教学目标，在课堂操作方面还需改进。
