教学目标: 1、能听、说、读、写四会单词younger、older、taller、shorter、longer、thinner、heavier、bigger、smaller、stronger、than要做到发音准确。

2、通过第一单元的学习，学生能对身体或事物的高矮、大小、轻重、长短进行描述和问答。

3、能够运用新学的单词进行语言交际。

4、能够运用计量单位kg和m，能根据所给的数据，运用比较词than进行事物或身体的比较或描述。

教学过程: 一、课前热身: 1、日常口语练习: T:Good morning,boys and girls.How are you today?

Ss: I am fine.Thank you.And you?

T:I am fine,too.Thank you. 2.

Enjoy let’s do:Do it together.

二、复习: T:Who's your English teacher?

Ss:She is Miss Chen. T:What's she like?

Ss:She is tall and thin. 三、新课呈现: (1)Ask and answer in the class.

T:Who is tall?/Who is short?

Ss:A is tall./B is short. T:A is taller than B.

(2)Make some sentences:引导学生用than和taller表达身边的同学身高情况

(3)利用课件呈现其新授单词

1、教师呈现图片并说:This is my brother.He is young.This is my little brother .He is younger.教师板书单词young__younger. 2、教师呈现自己家人的照片，说:My mother is old.My

grandmother is older.板书单词:old__older. 3、教师呈现图片说: The man is tall. And

the man is taller .板书单词:tall __taller . 4、教师拿出一把短尺子和一把长尺子，说:This ruler is shorter.

5、This ruler is longer . 6、The chopsticks are thin .The legs are thinner .板书:thin __thinner.

7、It's heavy .It's heavier .用同样的方法教授其它新的生词。

8、The apple is big .The apple is bigger.板书: big __bigger. 9、呈现图片说:The bird is small. And the bird is smaller.板书: small__smaller. 10、The man is strong. The man is stronger . 11、教授than 四、巩固练习: (1)教师用“唱反调”的方法读练新单词。规则:教师大声读单词，学生就小声读单词，教师小声读单词，学生就大声读单词。

(2)总结下这些形容词的比较级并稍作讲解。

(3)用这节课所学的单词操练句子。

五、课堂小结: 师生一起总结本节课所学的词汇和简单句型。

六、布置作业: 1、背诵并默写今天所学的形容词比较级相关生词。

2、试着用比较级造句。
