一、学情分析:
六年级学生已基本形成较好的英语学习习惯,绝大多数的学生掌握并积累了一定的词汇、句型,以及了解一些常见的语法知识,具备了基本的英语听、说、读、写技能。
部分学生对英语有着浓厚的学习兴趣,也掌握了学习英语的方法,有较多的同学具备了一些英语技能,
他们能用英语来进行简单流畅的交流,
能听懂基本的英语会话,但仍有些学生在英语学习上由于遇到各种阻力,减弱了他们对学习英语的兴趣。
在学习这些内容之前,学生涉猎过相关的描述的话题,比如:职业名称、如何对职业简单描述等话题,以及如何回答别人的询问等。他们能用简单的语言描述身边的人,简单谈论身边的人的职业,为本课时的教学打下了基础。通过学习培养孩子学会计划,理性安排。
教材分析:
新版PEP六年级英语Unit 5 What does he do? , 通过学习主要句型:
What does he/she do?He/She is a ...来谈论某人的职位。以及学习用Where does he/she work ? How does he/she go to work?提问以及作答, 学会用特殊疑问句询问别人的爱好、职业、工作地点和怎么去上班,并用肯定句描述别人的职位、工作地点、去上班的方式。学生根据自己的能力与兴趣,结合已学的对人物外貌特征和兴趣爱好的描述,谈谈自己梦想的职业,说说自己未来能胜任的工作。这不仅对新旧知识进行有机整合,而且对学生的语言表达能力也提出了更高的要求。通过学习培养孩子学会计划,理性安排。

设计整体思路和依据:
通过阅读学习,依托hobbies or be good at 引出dream jobs or want to be or want to work ,从而培养孩子学会计划,理性安排。
Read and write: 语言活动与练习板块第一板块能够阅读图片和文段,为文段选择相应标题并完成关于Hu Bin, Sarah和Robin爱好、梦想职业和工作地点的信息表;第二部分通过学习Hu Bin, Sarah和Robin爱好、梦想职业和工作地点,来描述自己好友的爱好、TA的dream jod和工作地点。
教学内容
学生根据自己的能力与兴趣,结合已学的对人物外貌特征和兴趣爱好的描述,谈谈未来能胜任的工作。本单元不仅对新旧知识进行有机整合,而且对学生的语言表达能力也提出了更高的要求。
1. 能熟练说出职业名称。
2. 通过阅读问题训练在语篇中捕捉不同类型信息的能力。
3. 能根据阅读所获得的信息完成有意义的仿写活动。
描述自己的爱好和喜欢的职业,以及描述任务的职业和生活情况。
能熟练运用如下句型:What does he/she do?What does he/she want to be? Where is he/she going to work? 进行职业规划。
教学目标
1、学生能熟练掌握本课时的重点句型If you like/can…, you can be a …. 2. 学生能够自主阅读Read and write 部分,理解句意。
3、学生能够根据自己的特长、爱好,学习规划,树立职业理想。

Step 1:Warm-up Free talk. Braintorm.Students say the jobs. Step 2:Pre-reading List five jobs. Pair work. Step 3:While-reading Read the text of P52 and circle the new words while reading. Try to learn the new words and try to know the meaning in groups. Learn the new words and important phrases. Step 4:Post-reading Listen and find out the main idea of this text:Can you give a title of this text? Read and finish the table. Read the text again. Step 5:Writing Write a cmposition about ideal job. 1.Who's he/she? 2. What's his/her hobby? 3. What does he/she want to be? 4. Where does he/she want to work? 5. How does he/she go to work?
