A Love Story I. Teaching tools

Teacher’s version

The granddaughter of the Goddess of Heaven, whose name was Zhinü, visited the earth. While on the earth, she met Niulang and fell in love with him and they got married.

When the Goddess of Heaven knew this, she got so angry that she forced the weaving girl return to Heaven. Learning that Zhinü was heart-broken, her grandmother permitted the couple to cross the Milky way to meet once a year with the help of magpies which make a bridge of their wings

Surprised and nervous, Li Fang stood there, frozen.

But

he soon understood what had happened. After thinking for a while, he decided to tell the truth. Looking deep into Hu Jin's eyes, Li Fang explained, “Honestly, I have been waiting for you at the coffee shop. You can't imagine how much I looked forward to having a happy Valentine's Day with you, dear.” He paused, holding Hu Jin's hands, “But we had a misunderstanding of the dating place. I even thought you didn't love me any more. I should have confirmed with you. Could you forgive me?” Li Fang held his breath for Hu Jin to respond. After hearing what Li Fang said, Hu Jin laughed in relief. “ What are you thinking about? I will always keep my word.” Then Hu Jin told Li Fang to have confidence in their relationship. “I love you. And sometimes, love is just about trust and tolerance(宽容). I will forgive you.” Hu Jin looked at him with a smile, softly and gently. Li Fang hugged her tightly, with tears rolling down.
