Unit 7 On the farm (story time) 一、Lead-in Listen to the song “The sound of animals”

T: Do you like the song?

We can hear a lot of animal sounds in the song. Right? What’s the sound of dogs? Ss: Woof, woof, woof. T: What’s the sound of cats Ss: Meow, meow, meow. T: What’s the sound of pigs Ss: Oink, oink, oink. T: You know the sound of animals very well. Look, here are some animal sounds. Let’s listen and guess.

二、Presentation 1.

Listen and guess T: OK. Let’s listen to some animal sounds.(听动物的声音猜动物，教师教授本课生词)

Listen! What are these? (播放cows的声音) Ss: They are … (cows) 教授单词cows并板书

T: What are these? (播放pigs的声音) S1/2/3: They are … (pigs) 教授单词pigs并板书

T: Great! Now here’s a chant about animal sounds. Let’s chant together. 教师带领学生一边做动作一遍读小诗。

T: If you want to know the animals. You can ask questions like this. (教授：

What are these/those? They’re…) 带读，开火车读，并操练。

板书句型。

T: Who wants to come to the front and ask the questions? 请两位学生上台问，班上的同学回答。

T: Great. Let’s play a game. A guessing game.

You may ask “ Are these/those…?” to ask the questions.(教授句型Are these/those…? Yes, they are./ No, they aren’t. 并板书) T: OK. Let’s guess. (依次猜测动物)

游戏中引出果树。

T: What are these?

Ss: They are apple trees. T: What are those? Ss: They are pear trees.

三、Story time 1.

T: Look, here are a lot of animals and fruit trees. Where are they? Ss: They are on the farm. T: Today, we’ll learn “Unit 6 On the farm”

Guess. Whose farm is it ? Ss: It’s Liu Tao’s Grandpa’s farm. T: Yes. Liu Tao and his friend Mike are on the farm, it’s the first time they meet.

What will Grandpa say? Listen. (播放录音”Nice to meet you. Welcome to my farm.” ) Read together. 2.

Watch and answer. Mike is on the farm. What can he see on the farm? Let’s watch and answer. 看动画，回答问题。

教师请几个学生回答问题，并请学生到讲台前摆放出Mike看到的内容。

Listen and number. T: Let’s listen to the tape and put the pictures into correct order. 听录音，将课文图片排序。

Read the story after the tape. 5.

Show time. T: Work in groups. Try to read and act the story.

T: Today I will show you a new farm. Let’s enjoy an interesting song. 教师播放Old Macdonald’s farm歌曲，学生欣赏，教师在黑板上布置新的农场。

T: Look, this is my new farm. Who wants to come to my farm? 教师选3个学生上台，根据提示，进行情境表演。

2. T: Now work in groups. One is the farmer, others are visitors. Let’s go. 教师请学生4人一组，按照教师的示范编个新对话并表演反馈。

3. T: I like your farms. Are you happy on the farm? Ss: Yes. T: Time is up. Today’s homework. 1、听磁带熟读课文5遍，并背诵。
