Read this passage then answer: what is a fact? What is an opinion? Step3 comprehending (10mins) T shows some sentences to the class, then students work in pairs to discuss the sentences. Then T makes a conclusion about the difference between a fact and an opinion. Step4 consolidation (5mins) Students fill in the table after reading. Step5 pre-listening (4mins) First, let students learn some new words, then ask them to go through the exercise and guess the main idea. Step6 listening (12mins) Students listen to the text carefully, and then finish the exercise, T ask

them to repeat some sentences if necessary. Then check the answers in groups. Step6 homework Students work in groups to tell each other a piece of news in our daily life, then others judge whether it is a fact or an opinion.
