一、教学目标

知识和技能目标

1、学生能听懂、会说、认读并书写下列词汇：tiger, bear, long. short 2、学生能认读、理解并使用下列句式：It’s long. It’s short. 3、学生能唱歌曲：Big and Small

学习策略

1、在课堂学习中集中注意力，注意倾听，积极思考。

2、通过小组合作，积极与他人合作，共同完成学习任务。

通过唱歌，做游戏等多种形式激发学生学习兴趣。

重点：tiger, bear, long. short单词的认读及掌握

难点：1、Its __ is ____.句中its 的发音及与it’s的区别。

2、能运用所学句型描述小动物。

教学过程

Step 1

1. Introduction 教师出示多媒体图片教学单词

T: What’s this?

It’s a tiger. 领读单词，板书。学生齐读，单个读至较熟练。

T：Is this a tiger?

Is it big? Is it fat? 同法教单词wolf

bear和snake。教学时注意元音及字母组合的发音，让学生从个各个角度对单词有全面认知。教师要运用所学过的句子What’s this? Is this a ___? Is it fat/thin/big/small? What colour is it? 引导学生对知识的全面掌握。在练读单词过程中评价。

同样借助PPT，鼓励学生描述兔子的外貌特征。教师可适时提示。

学习句子It’s short. Its ears are long.强调ears是复数。

T: Jenny and Li Ming are visiting a zoo, too. Let’s watch a video. 教师让学生观看第二部分视频，进行跟读模仿，提醒学生注意句子Look at the elephant.中the的弱读，并让学生练习单词和句子的正确发音。
