《Lesson7:At the zoo》教学设计

一、教学目标:

1. 知识目标:

能听说读写单词:zoo, panda, monkey, elephant, big, small

2. 能力目标:

能够在日常生活中熟练运用本课所学的动物单词。

3.情感目标:

通过本课学习,培养学生了解动物、热爱动物的情感。

二、教学重难点:

big, 本课的动物单词:panda, monkey, zoo, elephant,以及形容词: small, fat, thin.

三、教学准备:

录音机;课件

四、教学过程

Step1: Greeting and Review

1.教师和学生一起唱“Bingo”这首歌。

2.出示课件卡片,用英语简单的和同学们进行交流。例如:What’s this?

Is it a ____?

Can it fly/swim/run/jump?

以此回顾有关动物单词知识。

3.找一个学生表演动物,大家猜。

Step2: New Concepts

1. 游戏导入,出示课题:Lesson7:At the zoo

T: Saturday is coming. Where do you want to go? I want to go to the„.(出示zoo图片)Look, where is this? This is a zoo.(教师从字母发音出发,讲授单词zoo.兼顾听说读写四个方面。)

2. T: What animals are in the zoo? Let’s together. 以此引导出: panda, monkey, elephant.(这四个单词逐个出现)

教师通过以下步骤和方法讲解每个单词:

(1)拼读。(可以分组读,男女生比赛读)

(2)讲解单词的单、复数。

(3)围绕动物提问一些问题。以panda为例:What colour

is the panda? Can the panda swim?

(4)书写。(书写结束后举手,组长让老师看,组员让组

长看,组长负责指正错误)

Stept3:Teach “fat, thin, big, small”

T:(出示elephant和bird图片)I am tall.***is short. What does the elephant and the bird look like. The elephant looks very big. The bird looks like small. OK! Read after me. (教师领读big, small) 用同样的方法讲解fat, thin.

Step4:Practice

1. 教师提问:What animals are big/small/fat/thin? 学生踊跃回答。

2.小组合作描述一种小动物,其他组猜。

Step5:English homework:

描述一种自己喜欢的动物,并做头饰。
