Step1 Grammar revision

1. 英语中有两种语态：主动语态和被动语态

We planted the tree.

A. 主动语态表示主语是动作的

被动语态的用法：

(1)

不知道或没有必要说明动作的执行者是谁。

e.g. Some new computers were stolen last night. 一些新电脑在昨晚被盗了。

This book was published in 1981.

这本书出版于1981年。

(2) 强调动作的承受者, 而不强调动作的执行者。

e.g. The window was broken by Mike.

窗户是迈克打破的。

This book was written by him.

这本书是他写的。

2.Review the Simple Present Passive Voice and the Simple Past Passive Voice. 1). Look at the pictures on the screen. Beijing held / hosted the 29th Olympic Games in 2008. The 29th Olympic Games _______________ in Beijing in 2008. Chinese athletes won many gold medals. Many gold medals _________ by Chinese athletes.

Step 2. Let’s learn the Future Passive Voice.

1. Situation: Task1:There is an announcement put out by the Olympic committee about the next summer Olympic Games.Read it and try to understand in what situation we should use the Future Passive Voice? During the next Olympics, more athletes will be admitted as competitors. To avoid any problems, the host city will be asked about who will be in charge of organizing the games. All the events will be advertised ahead of time. So visitors can buy the tickets earlier. The old rules for the athletes will be replaced with new ones.
