Ⅳ. Teaching procedures Step 1. Lead in-- Brainstorm (7 minutes) Show the students the pictures in Warming up part and ask them whether they have seen these pictures before. Then ask the students to write down some key words they know about Australia. Share and discuss their key words together and choose one word to do the presentation. T: Have you ever seen these pictures? Write down some of the key words when you think of Australia and discuss with your partners. Each group are going to present one of your key words in front of the whole class. Step 2.

Warming up (3 mins) After the students’

presentations, we are going to make a summary by matching the key words listed in the Warming up part with the pictures followed as well as locating them on the map of Australia T: match the words with the pictures and put them in the right place on the map. Sydney
