本单元的话题是关于computers，通过文章能够了解关于电脑的发展历程以及使用领域，本节课是阅读课，主要是通过相关的任务来提高学生的略读，寻读等相关阅读技能，并且在本节课最后能够让学生清楚电脑发展过程，并且能够在此基础上明白电脑如何正确使用。

高一文科2班的学生课堂积极性总的来说还不错，在课堂回答问题方面积极性较好，个别学生还是缺乏自信，因此提高自信心对提高英语学***非常重要。中学生自己应该树立自信是一方面，同时教师也要积极设法帮助中学生树立自信。在提问时，教师应当对英语学***较低的学生提供一些帮助，如问题简单些，或给予适当的提示。当学生答对问题时，应该给予表扬，让他产生一种满足感，以增加学生自信心。在课堂纪律方面，少数人自制力较差，但是在老师提醒之下还是可以认真听讲。

通过Guessing game 导入，了解关于电脑的发展历程，通过话语进入下一环节。通过相关任务训练略读，寻读，细读等技能，在开始讲清各方法的含义，并通过相关任务加以练习。通过给出时间，让学生快速浏览文章找出相关时间的具体事件，再细读文章完成练习题。通过判断对错，检测学生对于文章具体细节的掌握情况。通过完成此任务再读文章，更加熟悉文章内容。通过讨论如何使用电脑清楚其使用利弊，进而通过“低头族”引导学生多关注家人朋友而不是手机。本节课课程内容完整，衔接流畅，过渡自然，情感教育方面也有所体现。但是，对于课程内容以及时间安排不够协调，导致最后的讨论环节没能达到预想目标。
