A Teaching Plan for Using Verb-ing Form as Subject and Object （Verb-ing Form as Subject and Object教学设计）

Analyses to teaching:(教学分析) This period is about the useful words, expressions and structures learned in the reading part. From the exercises in this period, students can consolidate what they learned in the reading part,and learn the grammar about the -ing form as the subject and the object. Asking-and-answering activity to check students' answers of the exercises. 2.Individual, pair or group work to finish each task.

Learning through self-study and cooperation 3. Task-based learning Teaching aids(教学准备) A projector and a computer. Teaching procedures:(教学过程) Step 1 Task 1 Proverb presenting：（谚语速呈）

One of the students comes to the blackboard to explain his or her proverb to the whole class. Step 2 Task 2: discovering useful words and expressions.(Ex.1) Check the answers and give the right answers. Step 3 Task 3:Let’s come to some words.(Ex.3) Look through the words given. Check them one by one.

Step 4 Task 4: discover and learn to use some useful structures. 1）Rewrite the sentences using Verb-ing as the subject .(orally one

by one) 2）Find out the verbs followed by Verb-ing as the object . 3)

write them in the right box. Group1 to do Group2 doing Group3 to do&doing Step 5

Task 5:Ask students to make sentences to introduce themselves using Verb-ing. Encourage students to use Verb-ing forms as much as possible. I am a teacher. Teaching English is my everyday job. I enjoy studying with my students together. It makes me full of energy all day.

I am interested in seeing movies. Although I love my job, sometimes I feel tired of doing the same thing every day and dream of trying something new, like singing English songs and I’m fond of teaching you. I hate cheating very much. Students’ cheating in the exam makes me angry and sad. Now I am enjoy myself by giving class to students in No. 2 Senior Middle School of BaShi
