a picture of a national flag of a country and let the students try to guess the name of the country and list the three famous things about the country. Step2.warming- up Show some pictures about the six places in Australia and

introduce each of them one by one briefly. Step 3 pre-reading

Glance quickly at the five texts below and then answer the question ‘what topic is common to all five texts.’

Step4 fast –reading

Read the five texts quickly and do the matching exercises. Step5 careful-reading Read the passage more carefully and answer nine questions.Then do the blank-filling exercises. Step6. discussion

Encourage the students to have a discussion about Australia.
