Teaching aims
Try to improve the students’ listening skills through circulatory listening and new listening. 二．
Teaching important and difficult points Motivate the students to get every sentence in different ways. 三．
Teaching steps 1.
Circulatory listening Circulate Situation 8 and Situation 9 learned last week. While listening, the students are required to repeat what they have heard. 2.
New listening. Before listening, help the students to solve the problems of new words in the listening material.

Listen to Situation 10 for the first time with the aim of gaining the mean idea of the dialogue. (2)
Listen to it again with the following questions:

Where are they going first? b.
Where will they go after that? c.
What are movie studios? d.

Listen to the situation for the third time to try to write down the key words of every sentence. Then according to what they’ve taken down, they should act out the dialogue or make a summary or retell the dialogue in their own words.

Listening test or extensive listening. 五．Give an assessment for this English class.
