The analysis of the teaching material：

In the College Entrance Examination, the reading comprehension accounts for nearly 25%, which shows us the importance of it. The analysis of the students：

In the aspect of acquiring knowledge, the English foundation is not very good for our students. The reading skills and reading ability should be improved. In terms of the emotional attitudes and values, the students are very outgoing and are willing to take part in the class activities. What’s more, they like express themselves. However, because of the poor foundation, sometimes they lack self-confidence. Teaching Goal：

1、The goal of knowledge and competence：

① Master the words, phrases and sentence structures of the text. ②

Use the students’ own words to give a general idea.

③ Finish the tasks correctly. 2、The goal of procedures and methods：

According to the prediction, the students can refer to the relevant materials to have a better understanding of the text. 3、The goal of emotional attitudes and values：

Help the students actively cooperate with others, study happily, develop the habit of sharing knowledge with others and participate in various English activities. Teaching keys and difficulties：

Significant points：

① Master the new words and phrases in the reading comprehension and translate the text into Chinese. ② Summarize the general idea and find out the topic sentences. ③ Finish the exercise of the text. 2、

Difficult points：

① Master and use the reading skills in doing exercise. ② Judge and analyze the question patterns. Teaching strategies and instructions：

During the teaching process, I should combine the teaching theory and the English task-based teaching method to set up my own English teaching class. This is a reading class. The main points are to master the reading skills and the method of doing reading tasks.

Step 1: According to the teaching contents, make the leading-in arouse students’ interest to learn English.

Step 2：Make the learning tasks in periods. Focus the students’ attention on learning English. According to the characteristic of English teaching, we divide the whole class into several periods to finish our tasks.

Step 3: Steps. Each period includes several actual teaching steps to carry out the tasks of each

period, which leads to finish the final teaching tasks.

Activities Step One: Leading in. Say something about breaking records and watch the video and some pictures to lead to the text.

Step Two: Fast reading. Read the passage and underline the sentences which you don’t understand. Finish the tasks.

Step Three：Careful reading. Answer the questions.

Step Four:

Solve the difficult sentences with your group members by discussing. If there are problems, group leaders can be turned to. The common problems are your feedback. Discuss the beliefs and show us your group’s opinion.

Step Five: Writing. Write a short passage with what you have learnt in the text including the words and expressions ----- break records, come across, there is no limit to sth. even though, connect with, participant in doing sth.

as well as, dream of, a sense of, achieve one’s goal Purpose 1、Train students to quickly adjust themselves to the learning situation and work in groups.

2、During the self-learning period, students learn the basic reading skills. Then, further instruction is to train their understanding capability.

3、Use the tasks to stress the key and difficult points.

4. Working in groups provides the different level helps for the different level students.

通过本次活动，我深刻体会到要讲一堂好课必须在教材分析，教学环节的设计及程序中，牢记对每个环节目标的追问，然后针对学生采取适合本班学生而且有效的方法，以达成教学目标。通过这次课，我真正意识到教师的能力不仅体现在要有过硬的知识，还要有机智的头脑，及幽默诙谐的语言来组织教学。从新课程角度来分析，本节课也体现了师生互动，学生互动的理念。同时给了我一次应变课堂突发事件的锻炼机会。

在授课中，总体不错，一班学生很活跃，积极参与，教学效果也很好，但在具体实施中也存在一些问题，例如没有给学生足够的反思时间；要注意规范教学用语，做到老师少说，学生多说；在实施教学中，有些内容可以让学生展示，这样既可以掌握学生的学习程度，又可让平行班中的一部分待优生清晰地学到实质性的内容。

在课后反思中，我意识到我平时要进一步加强对学生的学习习惯的培养，回答问题的规范性，小组合作的整体学习意识。刻意的培养学科骨干，要让他们成为我真正的助手，；以小组的形式让他们自己相互学习，相互督促，使每一个学生都真正的动起来，全员参与，充分调动他们的集体荣誉感，共同学习。在这一过程中，我更要注意对差生的心理辅导，不能让他们放弃。在训练中，我督促学生一定要“单位时间里拿分”，我认为这也是我们说的“绩效效果”。我们学了，就要有成绩，有效果，尤其是语言性学科，我们就得会说，会写，形成一定的思维能力。

通过本次授课，我对有效教学又有了一定深度的理解。在教学中要让学生明白老师和学生是一个共同体，我们要一起学习，共同成长。平时就要注重对学生的引导，不能一味的去讲，让他们自己去发现问题，对于平行班来说，差生确实有时很难进行讨论，这样我们老师就更得加强对助手的培养，让他们去教，在教中他们自己也会得到提升，可谓是双赢。而这样的教学，我们也会积累更多的教学经验，针对不同的问题，学生不同的反应，做到给予及时而又有力的回应。

总之，我今后要更好的学习授课，做到扬长避短，虚心学习，不断完善自己，使自己快速成长。
