【教材分析】

本课是《译林版小学英语》三年级下册Unit7 On the farm 的第一课时，教学内容为Story time部分，故事围绕“参观农场”展开，通过Mike参观农场时，向刘涛及刘涛爷爷提问的情景，引出一些有关农场的词汇及对近处、远处物体提问的句型。

从本单元起，教材开始涉及“名词复数”，这也是小学阶段英语较难掌握的语法之一。

【学情分析】

经过前几个单元的学习，学生已经掌握了数字的写法，为学生学习认识复数提供了基础，学生在之前的学习只有单数的概念，本单元将开始初步学习复数。

【教学目标】

1.通过学习Story time理解并掌握单词these, those，并对比与this，that的区别。

2.能正确理解并朗读对话内容，在教师的引导和帮助下尝试朗读对话、表演对话。

3.能正确地听懂、会说、会读、会写单词farm，they，those，apple，pear，orange，who. 4.能在真实的情景中运用What are these / those? Are these / those…?和日常交际用语Welcome to my farm. 进行交流。

【教学重点】

能正确理解掌握对话，并能朗读表演。

【教学难点】

1.通过学习Story time，能比较流畅地朗读对话，并能运用所学对话描述。

2.能在真实的情景中运用What are these / those? Are these / those…?和日常交际用语Nice to meet you, Mike. Welcome to my farm. 进行交流。

3.单词由单数向复数的转变。
