Step 1 Greeting

Step 2 Let’s make friends

Say something about your friend. This is ______ He/She is my friend (too). T: Today I’ll introduce you my friend. This is Paul. He’s my friend.

Ss meet Paul.

Task 1 I want to say Review the words in Unit 2 Game: Hit the mouse T: If you see the words,read them. If you see the mouse, say”don’t.”

Expansion: What we can’t do in other places? In the hospital/before bedtime/in the cinema/in class/after class 2.

Task 2 I want to act Ss work in pairs, act out story time and cartoon time.

Step 4 Song time Task 3 I want to sing 1.

Presentation T: Please listen to the song, tell me who they are. Ss: Tim and Tom. T: What does Tim say? Teach: Don’t talk Tom I want to sleep.

Read with emotions. Ss read the sentences individually. T: Listen again, how does Tom feel? A.

2.Practice Ss sing the song together. Sing the song in teams. Sing it individually.

Watch the cartoon T: See, Paul is walking up and down. Teach: walking Ss do the action and read together. T: Paul is walking up and down. Ss say and do together.

Pay attention to the intonation. 2.

Ss read again. Chant: Up and down, up and down, Paul is walking up and down. 3.

T: Let’s read more words.
