Step1: Warm-up 1. Sing the song together: Father and mother. 2. Four students in a group wear the mask of father, mother and teacher, act the dialogue of lesson 13. 3. Make a spelling match: let the students spell the words of parents.
Step2: Presentation 1.
Let the students look the knowledge structure of unit 3, and the knowledge tree of lesson 14, tell the students what they will learn in this unit.

2. Ask students to realize the structure of lesson 14. And review the words and sentences. 3. Let the students find out the words and sentences of this lesson from the knowledge tree. 4. Let the students read the books by themselves, and find the questions they feel difficult. 5. Then ask the students read the text in the small groups. Let them help each other to learn the words and sentences of this lesson. 6. Ask the students to act out the dialogue with the partner in the group. Then let the group leader to check who can’t read the text and words, or which sentence and word can’t read.
Step3: Practice 1. Aim at the questions of the students, the teacher helps them solve and answer their questions 2. Show the words: brother and sister. Let the students discuss to find out how to remember these words. 3. Use the drill “How old are you?” to ask the age of the other students.
