C story time

【教材分析】

本课时教学内容是六年级下册第四单元的Story time,故事内容是通过现在与过去的对比让学生了解人类生活的变化，地球环境的变化让学生认识到环境保护的重要性。目的是通过讲故事来巩固和提升前两部分所学内容，是学生能串联本单元单元，并进行适当拓展。

【学情分析】

学生对这两种时态均有一定的知识基础，教师在教学时注意以学生为主，以旧引新，注重知识的综合运用，提高学生综合语言运用能力。

【教学目标】

1.让学生听懂、会说、会读本单元中出现的单词：caveman，human，house robot，whale，earth，raw ，dishes，change，bright future，heal the world。

2. 能听懂、会读、会说一般过去式和一般现在时在一起出现时的表达方法，在教师的引导和帮助下正确的使用这些时态。

3. 能理解故事内容，能根据图片复述故事。

4. 教育学生要爱护地球，保护环境和动物，珍惜现在美好生活。

【教学重难点】

一般过去时与一般现在时的比较与运用

【教学过程】

Step 1. Warming up 1T: let’s begin our class with the song“Changes in me”.（设计意图：歌曲内容与本课主题有关，通过倾听英语歌曲既活跃课堂气氛又能引出本节课的故事内容，一举两得。）

2 Leading in T: Time flies quickly. We are growing up, and the things around us are changing. Today let’s learn a story about changes.（设计意图：自然引出故事主题。）

Step2. Presentation 1Before reading

T: Here is a picture .This is a man. Do you know where he lived ?

Ss :He lived in a cave .

T:Yes, He lived a cave .The people Who live in a cave. We call them cavemen.(Ss answer the question with the help of the teacher。通过问答的方式，引出生词caveman。) T: What did he do many years ago ? Ss : He ate raw meat. T: What’s this? It’s a house robot. T: What can he do? Ss: He can cook food, clean our room, wash the dishes.(接着通过图片和问答方式让学生熟悉新单词：earth,whale.) 2While reading (1)T：let’s see the video and order the pictures. Ss see the video and then do the task . After that , the teacher give the correct answer.

(2) T: let’s see the video again, and conclude each pargraph. Ss can choose the answer from the answers below. Athe changes of whales B the change of the earth. C the change of human’s life. (3)师生通过问答方式讲解故事大概内容。

T: And we know, as we people are changing every day, our life is changing, too. Who can tell us the changes of human’s life.(You can answer like this .Before, ……,now…….) S1：Before cavemen often ate raw meat, now we cook food. T: And in the future, there will be house robots to help us do house work. What about the changes of the earth?

S2:Before,

There were many trees, and there were many clean rivers.

Now, there are

more and more buildings. T: Yes ,you’re right. More and more trees were disappared, and more and more birds have no home now.

The earth doesn't belong to human, it belongs to all the lives. So what should we do? S3:

We should help the earth now, so birds will have homes and the forests will be healthy and green again. T: How about whales? Are there more whales than before? Ss give the answer。

T: Can you tell me the changes of whales?

Ss:

Before humans lived on the earth, whales already lived in the sea.

Now, there are not many whales. T：There are lots of whales were killed by people every year. If we change now, whales and humans will have a bright future.

3 After-reading 1 Read after the video，and retell the story.

2 播放《Heal the world》通过对故事的理解，倡导大家要爱护地球，绿色环保，保护动物。

Step3.homework 1.Listen and read Story time. 2.Retell Story time to your classmates.

教学反思：本课时以故事教学为主，在此基础渗透环境保护教育。图片解说内容较多，教学有一定难度，为了降低年度，我在设计问题时，把难点分散成三个知识点，让学生有针对性阅读某一方面的情况和知识，这样学生不会觉得很难就找到答案。课堂收尾我采用了歌曲Heal the world,也与紧贴本课主题，在播放歌曲的同时，插入有关号召环保和保护动物的图片。帮助课堂进行感情升华给学生留下深刻印象，具有启发性。
