引导学生根据板书上的关键词复述课文。

Step 1 Warm up 1.

Greetings

T: Good morning, boys and girls.

Ss: Good morning, Ariel.

T: Nice to meet you.

Ss: Nice to meet you too. 2.

Learning targets

T: First of all. Lets loot at the ;earning targets today. Through this lesson, we can learn how to ask about prices. We can read and understand the story. We can act story. We can join a charity sale to help others.

T: What is a charity sale? Lets see some pictures. That’s us, right? How happy we are! Charity sale means we sell out objects and use the money we get to help people or areas in need. Understand? Step 2 Presentation I

T: We had several charity sales in grade 2 and grade 3. We sold many thins. What didi we sell? Remember?

Ss: We sold our books... 1.

Lets guess

T: Ok, I have some things for you today. What is this?

Ss: T-shirt, basketball, book.

T: Great, can you guess the prices of them? The prices are form 1 to 19 yuan. 1)

T: Look at the T-shirt, how much is it?

Ss: It’s...yuan.

T shows the correct price. 2)

T: What about the basketball? How much is it?

Ss guess, T shows the correct price.

T: Last one, can you ask the price?

Ss: How much is it?

T: How many books can you see now?

Ss: 2.

T: Can we ask “ How much is it?”?

Ss: No.

T: We should ask “ How much are they?” ? Also, we should answer“

They’re... yuan”

T: Look, two books. How much are they?

T asks, Ss answer.

T: What about 3 books?

Ss ask together and then answer.

T: And now, four books. Can you ask?

Teach “twenty”

T: Small tip for you: When we ask about the prices, if the object is the singular form, we can use “ How much is it?”. If the object is the plural form, we should ask as “How much are they?”

T: One basketball is 14 yuan. What about 2 basketballs?

Ss: They’re 28 yuan.
