六年级学生已经经历了小学三年的英语学习,对英语的兴趣和积极性虽然没有中低年级那么高,但对知识有一定的积累,能够自主阅读相对简单或难易适中的文本,并能理解大概内容。对于掌握本课内容,没有很大难度,歌曲的学习也是情感得到恰当的升华。

本课是第四单元的第二课。本单元的主要内容为Li Ming comes home。本课主要的学习内容也是对本单元学习知识的一个升华。本课主要以描述Jenny, Danny和Li Ming之前发生的事情为主线，教会孩子们用一般过去时来描述照片当中发生的事情。

教学重点

学生能够听懂、认读、会说并书写单词：get, find.能够根据真实语境猜测get ready to的词义并运用。根据上下文理解found的词义。

学生能够在教师的引导下，运用寻读，跳读等阅读策略读懂并理解文本，能够正确获取文本信息。

学生能够利用一般过去式描述回忆中的场景，并尝试使用then, but等连词描述事情，表达观点。

学生能够在小组合作的过程中积极投入到旧照片的描述中，大胆尝试、相互学习，结合对小学校园生活的留恋，体会值得珍惜的友谊之情。

学生能够在教师的示范和提示下注意连读现象，并在整体输出时正确运用。。

学生能够听懂、会说、认读并书写下列词汇：find、get；

学生能认读、理解、并运用句型：Do you remember? 学生能够运用正确时态来描述照片当中发生的事情。

课文图片的处理，采用先用问题引导学生猜测，然后通过读照片部分的文本进行检测的方式进行。在问题引导猜测的过程中，教师会引导学生说出图片的内容或者更多的生成内容。既丰富了学生的语言知识又帮助学生理解课本内容

作业设计

引导学生尝试总结本课的重点内容：如何描述图片。让学生更深层次的理解了从文本当中提取的主要内容。

小组活动讨论照片发生的事情，让学生自己组织语言去描述照片，能够练习学生的表达。

通过写让学生把所学内容落实到笔上能够帮助学生加深理解如何描述图片。

通过学生展示，教师点评让学生能够对自己的描述有一个整体的认识。
