教学内容:四年级下Unit 3 Can you tell me the way? Lesson 9 教学目标：

1. 能正确理解、朗读课文。

2. 能听懂、会说、认读有关学校场所的单词library，

teacher’s office, the art classroom, the computer lab；及in that building, the first floor, 等介词短语的认读。

能在学校平面图中找到各场所的位置和楼层。

3. 在自己学校真实的情境中，能运用“Excuse me，where is the ...” “It's...” 问路及帮助他人指路。

4. 能根据学校实际情况有礼貌的帮助他人指路。

教学重难点：

1.理解、朗读课文。

“Excuse me，where is the ...” It's...” 问路及帮助他人指路。能正确理解、认读有关学校场所的单词。

难点：根据实际情况在学校中给他人指路。

教学过程：

一、导入

1.创设情境，揭示主题

呈现几张问路的图片，提问：What are they doing?

Who asks the way ? Who tells the way?

Today ... need to ask the way too. Where do they want to go? Let’s enjoy.学生表演展示

A：Hello, welcome to our school. B: Thank you. A: This is our music classroom. B: It’s nice. Do you like music?

A: Yes, I like pop songs best. B: What do you like to do after school? A: I like to play basketball.

B：Let’s play together.

A: OK. B: Ouch! A: What’s wrong with you?

B: My arm hurts. A: Oh. Let’s go to the clinic.

B: OK. Where is the clinic? A: En…

Where do they want to go?

Where is the clinic? Can you tell the way in English? Today let’s learn how to ask and tell the way.

2.介绍学校场所

(1)介绍学习教学楼

呈现学校平面图介绍教学楼

They wanted to go the clinic. Now, let's look at our school. We have five buildings. This is building 1. This is building 2. This is building 3. This is building 4. This is building 5. This is the playground.

呈现学校教学楼1图片，理解楼层

Look, which building? It has 4 floors. This is the first floor. This is the second floor. This is the third floor. This is the fourth floor. (学生跟着一起数) (2)了解学校各教室

What rooms are there in our school? 学生说说自己知道的教室有哪些

呈现各教室的图片，学习词汇

You know many rooms. Which room is this? This is the science classroom, the art classroom, the computer lab, the teachers' office. 谜语呈现理解学习单词library.

(3)小组活动，了解学校各教室方位

We have many rooms. Where are they? Do you know？

呈现computer lab图片，回答问题

教师提问：Where is the computer lab? Which building? Which floor? 小组活动给教室找到正确的位置，并粘到学校平面图中

订正答案

Where is the teachers' office? Which building? Which floor? 理解和尝试表达：It's in building ( 1) . It's on the (fourth) floor. 描述教室位置

总结：How do you find these rooms? 引导学生说出：先找到building, 再找floor. 二、对话学习

1. 整体感知对话

观察主题图，

Who are they? Where are they? What are they doing? Who asks? Who tells? 整体播放对话，初步理解对话大意

Where does Mike want to go? Ss: He wants to go to library. 2.理解第一段对话

播放第一段对话，不出现文字

T: Why does Mike ask the way? Ss: This is the new library. T: Why does Mike ask this man? What's in his hand? Where does he come from? Ss: Maybe the teachers' office, library. （学生理解要找什么样的人问路）

再次播放第一段对话，

There are 4 buildings, where is the new library? If you are Mike what do you want to know? 引导学生说出Which building?

Let's listen. 学生看图Look at his finger. 理解It's in that building over there. 呈现that building. 观察图片Look at that building. How many floors? Where is new library? What does Mike want to know?

引导学生说出Which floor? Listen and answer.

3. 理解第二段对话

(1)观察图2：Where is Mike now?

They are stairs, these rooms are on left of the stairs, these rooms are on the right of the stairs, there are many rooms. Does Mike know the way? If you are Mike what will you do? 两人一组讨论

学生根据生活经验想出可以找到房间的办法

What will Mike do? Let's watch. He asks again. Who tells the way? Listen: Which room is the library? 4.再次整体播放对话，总结对话

播放对话,教师提问Where is the new library?

Circle the room. 学生独立思考，圈出library, 两人讨论，汇报，引导学生从which building? which floor？进行指路

教师板书：

It's in that building.

It's on the fifth floor.

It's the third room on the right. 教师提问：Mike doesn’t know the new library? How does he ask the way？

板书：

Excuse me, where is the new library? 提问：Is he polite? How do you know? 5. 跟读课文，小组练习朗读对话。

6. 句型练习

教师提问：Where is the new library? Can you ask and tell the way.（注意加上礼貌用语

thank you , not at all.）教师与一学生示范

两人一组练习问答。

三、拓展应用

1. 呈现课前学生展示表演中的问题，Where do they want to go? Now, can you tell him the way？

课前展示的两个孩子问路，其他学生指路。

2. 小导游介绍学校各场所位置

After class some teachers will visit our school，they will go to the computer lab, the teachers' office, the library and the art classroom. Can you tell the way to them? Work in pairs. Try to ask and tell the way. 呈现教师想要参观的教室图片，学生根据地图练习问答指路。

2. Try to introduce our school to your parents.
