课时目标

1.复习三会单词：

dinosaur,hall,meter,than,both,kilogram,countryside,lower,shadow,smarter,become;四会单词：

younger,older,taller,shorter,longer,thinner,heavier,bigger,smaller,stronger .复习四会句子：

Your feet are bigger than mine.

How tall are you ? I’m1.65meters. How heavy are you?I’m48 kilograms. What size are your shoes, Mike?

My shoes are size 37. 2.读懂Story time中的故事。

教学重难点：

重点：复习本单元的单词和句子。

难点：能借助图片读懂

Story time 中的故事。

教具：

录音机和磁带。

教学过程：

一、Warm-up Sing the song 二、Revision 1.复习四会单词：

younger,older,taller,shorter,longer,thinner,heavier,bigger,smaller,stronger 2.活动：正反话

活动方式：教师说一句话，学生要马上将这句话反着说出来，比比谁的反应快。如：T：Qin Penghe is taller than Luo DongJie.

S: Luo DongJie is shorter than Qin Penghe. T:Fan Jiahao is heavier than Gong Mingzhe. S: Gong Mingzhe is thinner than Fan Jiahao. T:My hands are bigger than yours.

S:Your hands are smaller than mine 三、Presentation

1.教学Let’s wrap it up (1)总结所有形容词比较级的变化规律：

a.一般情况下，形容词的比较级是直接在其原型后加-er.

如：tall—taller

small—smaller

b.以重度闭音节结尾，且结尾只有一个辅音字母的形容词，应先双写末尾的辅音字母，再加-er.

如：thin—thinner

fat—fatter

c.以辅音字母+y结尾的形容词，应先把y变i再加er.

如：heavy—heavier

happy—happier

(2).学生利用以上规律独立完成练习。

(3).全班讲评订正。

2.教学Story time (1)师生对话，导入故事。

T：Do you like football? S1:Yes,I do. T:（出示球门的图片）What’s this? S2:It’s a goal. T: Yes, it’s a goal. Who is often in front of the goal? Yes, it’s a goalkeeper. Look! What’s happening there? Yes ,someone needs a goalkeeper !Then, what’s going on? Let’s read the story .

(2)学生阅读故事，了解故事大意。

(3)教师播放课文录音，要求学生边看边思考：

Q1：Do they need a tall goalkeeper?

Q2:What kind of goalkeeper do they need? (4)学生阅读后回答问题。

(5)让学生说说下列句子的意思，并模仿故事中人物的语音、语调读句子：

Yes, he is stronger, but he can’t catch the ball!

What’s happening there?

We need a big guy!

Your neck is too long. The other can’t reach you. Football needs teamwork.

He’s almost bagger than the goal! (6)让学生分角色表演。

四、Consolidation and extension 活动：Football Club 活动方式：告诉学生，学校要成立一支足球队，欢迎大家加入。请学生根据自身的情况，说说自己能为足球队做些什么。如：

Hello, I’m mike . I’m1.62 meters. I’m 48 kilograms. I want to be a goalkeeper . I can catch the ball well. I can run fast and jump high. ’m smart. I think I will be a good goalkeeper.
