1. Teaching aims and demands:

Vegetables are good for your health, eat them more. You can grow taller.

6.Teaching steps:

(1)Warm up:

Greetings .

Show the topic of this unit. Revise the learned words.(tall, short, long, young, old) (2)

Leading in: How tall are you?

Ask Ss to answer the question.(blackboard)

Ask and answer. (I ask you , you ask her)

(3)Presentation:

(Let’s learn)

a. Today we go to meet Sarah and Mike. (topic of the unit)

Play the VCR of“A Let’s learn”. Students watch carefully and find your answer.

b. Ask one student come to the blackboard, change the sentence. How old are you?(stress on the pronunciation of “older”) Practice it. Answer it.

c. Practice the sentence and Play the VCR again.

Ask a student come to the front, change the sentence. Sum up the rules of the comparaive form of adj.

d. Practice the sentence and underline the key sentences.

Keep notes of the four sentences.

e. Discuss the translations of the dialogue.

Report your answers in groups and do imitation practice.

(4)Practice: (Do a survey and report)

Act out the dialogue.

Reflection: 反思，本节课的重难点已经讲解清楚，但是练习还是有点少，应该让

学生拿着自己绘画作品再进行些口语练习。再做一些德育渗透，好好吃饭，好好长大个儿。
