2. To develop Ss’ listening skills for guessing the meanings of some words.

3. To practice some useful sentence structures. 4. To encourage Ss to face the trouble in daily life bravely.

2. To practice some useful sentence structures.

Teaching methods; 1.listening to help Ss to get the general idea of the song. 2.task-based reading activities to help Ss to get the meaning of some new words. 3.communicative approach and discussion to improve Ss speaking and thinking.

Teaching procedures:

Step I

Warming up

（1）Get some Ss to sing several sentences of their favorite English songs .

（2）Show Ss one of the teacher’s unforgettable English songs The Show.

设计意图：①以学生们喜欢的英文歌曲话题为主线切入本课主题，把学生的注意力转移到课堂学习中，老师唱歌是为了调动学生愉快的学习情绪；②老师唱的这首歌曲是Lenka的一首歌曲，让学生了解Lenka，为下面的导入她的另外一首今天要学习的新歌曲Trouble is a friend。

做好铺垫。

Listening and

thinking

Appreciate and enjoy a beautiful English song

（2）

Get the students to know the singer of the song Lenka.（The brief introduction to Lenka） （3）Help the students to get the general idea of the song.

设计意图：通过第一遍歌曲欣赏，让学生初步了解歌曲的整体含义和所要表达的情感、歌曲的内容，为其后分析歌词做好准备。 Step III

Analyzing

（1）Listen twice and then ask the students to fill in the blanks with the right

words.

Speaking

Help Ss to get the main idea of the song understand the meaning of the song. Ask Ss a question and guide Ss to face the trouble in their daily life bravely.

设计意图：诠释歌曲的意义，揭示歌曲的主题引导学生勇于面对生活中的困难。

Step VI

Sing the song together

设计意图：学生共同学唱一首英文歌，增强学生英语学习兴趣，使这节课在轻松愉悦的氛围中结束。
