Wildlife Protection 阅读课

一、教学内容：Warming up ；Pre－reading；Reading. 二、教学目标：

知识目标

1、To enable students to get the general idea of the text. 2、To let students know some basic information about the endangered wildlife protection. 三、本单元教学设想

Period1：Warming up，Pre-reading and comprehending. Period2：Language study. Period3：Grammar. Period4：Reading and Listening and speaking. Period5：Writing. 四、能力目标

1、To encourage students to think and express their opinions about wildlife and wildlife protection. 2、To enhance students reading ability, such as skimming for the general idea, scanning for specific information. 五、情感目标

1、To arouse students’ awareness of protecting wildlife and make them take an active part in protecting wildlife. 2、To help students develop the sense of cooperative learning. 六、教学重难点

1、To help students comprehend the text and grasp the main idea of it. 2、To grasp the usage of some words and expressions. 难点

To help students draw conclusions on how to protect the wildlife. 七、教学方法

1、Fast reading to get a general idea of the text. 2、Careful rdading to get the detailed in formation in the text. 3、Discussion after reading to make students understand what they，ve learned

better. 4、Pair or group work to make the students take an active part in the activities in class. 八、教学步骤

Step1 Leading in 请学生看PPT中的野生动物图片，让全班学生根据已有知识谈谈为什么这些野生动物处于危险中，教师可以先请几个学生说出自己的看法，再总结并补充，和学生一起归纳出野生动物处于危险中的原因。

设计意图：通过图片激发兴趣，引出本单元的话题，许多动物都处于危险中，唤起学生的忧患意识，为后面的阅读做铺垫。

Step2 Pre－reading 1、请学生列出自己了解的我国或其它国家的其它濒危动物，然后用PPT展示。

2、请学生问答，为了保护这些濒危动物，人们正在采取哪些措施，用PPT展示人们应该做的。

Step3 Fast Reading 1、请学生先看PPT上的问题，然后听课文，找出课文中心思想。

2、用PPT展示七道判断对与错的判断题，并请学生判断并讲解。

Step4 Careful Reading 1、让学生指出Daisy遇到4种动物

2、让学生说出这4种动物面临的问题

3、让学生填写有关课文内容的填空题，然后讲解。

设计意图：通过设计的问题引导学生运用略读策略快速了解课文内容，考虑到学生归纳概括的能力比较薄弱，采用判断对错和填空的形式给予学生帮助，可以降低难度。

Step5 Language Points 用PPT展示七个生词及常用的搭配及例句,以及WWF的含义。

Step6 Discuss 叫学生就如何保护野生动物展开讨论，先集体讨论，然后个别发言，得出结论“我们要与动物和谐相处”。

Step7 Homework 1、Write an article about how to protect the endangered animals based on the discussion. 2、Retell the story of the reading passage.

课前预测：

1、本节课借助多媒体教学手段和教师引导相结合，根据一年级学生的认识规律，围绕课文设计探究性题目，激发学生参与的积极性。

2、本课时的活动设计由浅入深，课时设计者通过大熊猫及藏羚羊的生存环境这种学生熟悉的话题，引起学生的兴趣并逐渐引出本单元的话题，野生动植物的保护，通过对课文的进一步学习，让学生体会到野生动物保护的重要性和紧迫性，启发学生积极思考解决问题的办法。

3、采用任务型的教学途径，结合学生的经验和兴趣设计相关的任务链，让学生在以个人或小组合作的形式完成任务的过程中学习到相应的语言知识并获得语言能力。

4、本堂课的教学设计希望学生在活动中，了解动物及生存环境，学生们要有自己的看法和设想，共同参与讨论，让学生受到爱护动物的教育。那么，将来从事哪一行的工作，都会全力保护我们的野生动物，作为教师来说，希望学生不单掌握科学知识，同时培养他们人文精神也很重要。
