Help the students learn to outline the writing task.

Help the students to write a short passage about what they have seen or experienced using typical sentences structures, conjunctions and transitional words.

Give instructions for the students to follow.

This part provide a situation to the students in which they present and share their opinions with their team members, especially cooperate with their partners, which helps the students to learn to share, cooperate and learn from each other. Teaching Procedures

Do some revision about some typical sentence structures and ask some students to make up sentences using the sentence structures with Group PK to active class atmosphere. I will give you 5 minutes to talk with your partner to make up sentences. Step 2 Presenting some pictures

T: We have learnt so much about body language. Now it’s time for us to practice. Please look at the picture in the screen.

And what do these body language means? So different body language has different meaning, besides, some funny body language can leave a deep impression on us.

Outlining the text and storing the key words and expressions.(group work)

Which words and expressions would you like to use in your composition ? After 8 minutes, ask some students to air their view and stick their jobs on the blackboard. (you can get 2 points for your group each word and expression) Step 5

Making up sentences using the words and expressions.

Give the students 8 minutes to collect their ideas and begin to write their composition. Each group leader can present their sentences on the blackboard so that all the students can share and you can get 5points for your group each sentence. After 8 minutes some students have stuck their sentences on the blackboard and let students pick out the beautiful sentences to compare with the standard sentences. (1)

As we know, some English teachers seldom use any body language in class, and as a result, their classes become boring and uninteresting, for which many students may find it hard to listen to them attentively. What’s worse is that some students even get bored with English. (2)

However, luckily enough, more and more teachers can make full use of body language in class, thus leading to their classes being lively and interesting. (3)

Moreover, this way tends to make students, particularly underachievers, take great interest in English. (4)

In a word, teachers’ proper body language helps to attract students’ attention and make students understand the lesson fully, which will improve teaching effect. Step 5
