Step 1. Greetings and flashcard show

Questions:1. How much do you know about the Olympic Games, the latest previous Olympic was held in Rio, Brazil . How many events can you know in the track and field?

Question 2. A quick skimming on the most important verbs in this unit. Students activity1. Stand up and stretch your body before a thorough revision . Students activity2. Watch the screen conducted by document camera which shows the total words in this unit and read aloud, both Chinese

and English accompanied.

Step2. Exercise on key words Student activity1. Fill in the blanks with words that are required to be translated from English to Chinese and at contrast independently.

Student activity 2.

Present their results on the blackboard according to the turns arranged by May. Teacher activity: Lead the whole class to correct the answers presented on the blackboard. Student activity: Revising the word they just accomplished.

Step 3. Discourse practice.

Student activity1. Fill in the spelling task according to the clues and the context.

Student activity2.Fill in the blanks, using the reminding information given in the brackets.

Teacher activity: walk inspection

Student activity: Take turns to present their outcome on the blackboard.

Teacher activity: Lead the whole class to check the exercise and emphasis the common errors students may encounter in the daily practice.
