Story time

Teaching aims:

1、知识目标:

1) 能认识主要的人物:Mr Green.

2) 能听懂、会说、会读、会运用单词:the/door/ window/ blackboard/ open/ close.

3) 能听懂、会说、会读、会运用句型:Stand up./ Sit down./ I’m sorry./ Come in.

4) 能用open/ close来组成祈使句。

2、能力目标:能与别人相互合作,共同完成学习任务。

3、情感目标:培养学生学英语的兴趣,运用英语的意识。

Teaching focus:

1.能理解Story time板块的对话内容,朗读并表演课文对话。

2.能在具体的情境中运用所学词汇和句型创编对话。

Teaching difficulties:

1. 能正确朗读down, please, close,单词的元音字母和字母组合读音要到位。

2. 学会词组连读Stand up. Sit down. Come in.

Step 1 Warming up

1. Greetings.

T:Class begins.

S:Stand up.

T:Good morning,class.

S:Good morning,Miss Zhang.

T:How are you?

S:Fine,thank you.And you?

T:I’m fine,too.Sit down,please.

生): Hello, XX, are you happy in the winter holiday?

S: Yes, I am.

Step 2 Presentation and practice

1. Meet some friends

T: Do you miss our friends? We have some old friends ,such as Liu Tao,Mike ,Helen and so on .Let’s see who they are.Please look at magic eyes,

2.Look at these phrases .Please read after me.

Just now,we have learnt “stand up.sit down.”Now I will ask a student to come to the Bb.If I say sit down ,you just do like this.understand?. Stand up. / Sit down.

T: You did a good job, our classroom is nice. And look, this is our friends’classroom. They are in class.

What will Mr Green say? (Ss各抒己见:Class begins. 或招呼语) What about the students?

Teach: Stand up. / Sit down.

( Chant: Stand, stand, stand up, please; sit, sit, sit down, please.) Practice: 1) T say, Ss do. 2) Sx say, Ss do.(Ss 用Mr 或Miss称呼Sx)

3.I think many students want to be a teacher,I will give you a chance.Now I will ask a student to act the teacher,then the others act the students. Now ,they are in class.this is our new teacher ,Mr Green.

T: Look, who is new here? (出示新人物Mr Green)

Mr Green is a teacher, too. Let’s greet with him.

Ss: Hi, Mr Green. Nice to meet you.

4.This is our classroom,what can you see in your classroom?

Teach the new words: door / window / blackboard

T: Boys and girls, look at the picture, where are they?

Ss: They are in class. (Teach: In class 揭题)

T: We are in class now. And this is our classroom. What can you see in our classroom?

Teach: door(将单词卡直接贴在实物上,后面的两个单词同法)

Door, door, a big big door. Door, door, a green green door.

Teach: window

Window, window, a big big window. Window, window, a nice nice window. Teach: blackboard ( What colour is it ? )

Blackboard, blackboard, a long long blackboard. Blackboard, blackboard, a black black blackboard.

3. Pairwork(指实物):

S1: Hello, … What’s this / that? S2: It’s a …

S1: Can you spell it? S2: Yes, ……S1: What colour is it? S2: It’s …

(第二个问答不作要求,能说出的奖励贴纸)

Step3 watch and choose

1.Now please watch and choose:Who is late? Tell me your answer.

2.Please watch the cartoon again and answer the questions:who can tell me the answers,put up your hands.

(1)What does Mike say ?

(2)What does Mr green say?

Step4 Read and underline

(1) What does Mr Green say to Liu Tao?

(2) What does Mr Green say to Wang Bing?

(3) What do they answer?

Step5 Listen and judge.

Step6 Practise

Just now ,we have learnt “open”and “close”.Now, please use them to make more phrases.

T: Where’s Mike? Look, he’s out of the classroom. What will Mr Green say? Let’s listen.

Ss repeat: Please open the door.

Teach: open

Practice: 用open组词, T示范: Open, open, open the door / window.可适当拓展:book, box, school bag, pencil case…

6. Come in.

1) Mike is late. What does he say? (请小老师教其他同学)

S: I’m sorry, Mr Green. (对照图片读句子)

T: Come in, Mike. (T回答Ss,提前渗透)

2) Ss回忆刚刚老师的答案,Ss自己说Come in. 注意尾音m的发音,逐一纠正。

3) Practice: S1: I’m sorry, Miss / Mr …. S2: Come in, XX. 7. close

T(show Picture 4): Oh, look at the trees, it’s a rather windy day. I think it’s cold outside, and the window is open. So, what does Mr Green say to Wang Bing?

Ss : Please close the window.

Teach: close

Practice: 用close组词, T示范: Close, close, close the door.

给出一些提示:window, pencil case, box, school bag, book…

1. Read the dialogue.

1) Let’s read after T.

4) Let’s read together. If you can recite, please close your book. 2. Act the dialogue.

1) T to be Mr Green. S1 to be Liu Tao, S2 to be Mike, S3 to be Wang Bing.
