as a result 结果(短语副词, 单独使用, 前后常有标点) as a result of 由于……的结果(短语介词, 接名词或代词) Eg. He worked hard to deal with it. As a result, he finally succeeded.

As a result of his hard work, he finally succeeded in finishing it.

Exercise: 他很懒，所以他失败了。
